Competition Hillclimb events are run at Rob Roy regularly through the year. These include:

Victorian Hillclimb Championship

  • This event is sanctioned by the "CAMS Victorian Hillclimb Advisory Panel".  www.hillclimbvic.com.au/
  • At least one, sometimes two rounds of the VHC are run at Rob Roy each year.
  • Entry is open to all drivers, although only those registered with the Victorian Hillclimb Championship are eligible for Championship points.

Interclub Challenge Series

  • These are run and promoted by the MG Car Club. [Upcoming Events]
  • Three events make up the series each year.
  • These events were instigated in 1996 to promote friendly rivalry, at a Club level, between the local sporting car clubs
  • Participants earn points for their nominated car club.
  • Entry is open to all drivers, and all classes of vehicles.
  • One round of the Interclub Series is run in conjunction with the Marque Sports Car Association. www.msca.net.au/

VHRR Historic Hillclimb

  • This is promoted by the Victorian Historic Racing Register. vhrr.com/
  • One event is run generally in April or May each year.
  • This is Round One of the Triple Cup Series featuring classic & historic cars

VSCC PreWar Historic Hillclimb

  • This is promoted by the Vintage Sports Car Club of Victoria. vintagesportscarclub.org.au/
  • One event is run in August each year.
  • This is Round Two of the Triple Cup Series

MGCC Historic and Classic Hillclimb

  • This is run and promoted by the MG Car Club. [Upcoming Events]
  • This is the last event each year, held in November.
  • Entry is open to "Historic" and "Classic" cars, which generally means pre-1980,
    or reproductions of a pre-1980 model.
  • This is Round Three of the Triple Cup Series

Come and Try events

  • Some events include a "Come and Try" class.
  • These feature a reduced cost, where potential hillclimbers can do untimed runs up the track with an experienced instructor beside them.
  • One-day Motorsport Australia competition licences may be purchased on the day if you do not have a current competition licence.
